Adult Reentry
Workforce Program

for justice-involved adults

This program supports justice-involved adults facing barriers to stability and employment, including limited work history, lack of educational opportunities, housing instability, and systemic discrimination. Many of the individuals we serve are rebuilding their lives after involvement with:

  • Jail and prison

  • Court-ordered treatment programs

  • Probation and parole

  • Substance use recovery programs

Our Approach

Our approach begins before release whenever possible, ensuring individuals have support and connection in place before reentering the community. We focus not only on job placement, but on long-term retention and stability by providing wraparound support that addresses the real-life barriers people face. Through mentorship, guidance, and workforce development, we help create pathways to livable wages and sustainable careers—not just employment.

Before this program, I felt like every door was already closed on me. Justice Jobs gave me more than employment. They gave me support, structure, and people who actually believed I could build a better future. Now I have a stable job, I’m supporting my family, and for the first time in a long time, I feel proud of where my life is headed.

Community Impact

Employment creates ripple effects far beyond the individual. Stable work reduces recidivism, strengthens families, increases community safety, and helps break cycles of poverty and incarceration. When individuals have access to meaningful employment, mentorship, and livable wages, they are more likely to secure housing, support their children, contribute to the local economy, and build long-term stability. By investing in second chances, we help create healthier communities and a stronger workforce for Maryland.

Join Our Community Reentry Hub

Successful reentry takes more than employment alone. Our Community Reentry Hub is a weekly Saturday program where people, speakers, and resources come together in one welcoming space. It connects individuals with additional resources, support services, and community partners to help navigate the challenges of rebuilding and moving forward.
