What Does Justice Jobs Do?
Justice Jobs prepares jobseekers, constructs jobseeker resumes, assists them in completing online applications, matches them to Employers, sends them on interviews, and follows up afterwards.
We place jobseekers primarily at entry level. After placement, we support new hires with workshops and morale-building events. The goal is advancement and optimization of placement within 2-3 years.
Justice Jobs provides employers with pre-screened, qualified jobseekers, matched to open positions, who have completed our week-long Jobseeker Placement Workshop Series.
After hiring, employees are asked to stay in contact with Justice Jobs for monthly programs and continuing contact. Activities involve monthly spaghetti dinners for networking, sharing of their experience, and presentations and discussions, as well as visits to the office for move-up career counseling and referrals for move-up opportunities elsewhere in our community.
Justice Jobs relies on Volunteers. We train our volunteers to work 1:1 with jobseekers in all aspects of the job search process, and also with prospective employers to develop open job opportunities. This is rewarding work for anyone who wants to "do something that really counts"!
