November 13, 2018 - Justice Jobs has been welcomed as a new member of the Frederick Coalition for Financial Success.  The FCFS is a broad-based community coalition of nonprofits working for economic justice in the Frederick Area, focusing on promoting financial literacy and stability offerings throughout Frederick County, hosting a financial literacy kickoff event, maintaining a financial literacy resource webpage and supporting VITA sites through resource development efforts. See https://www.unitedwayfrederick.org/FCFS for more information.

October 27, 2018 - Justice Jobs welcomes Barbara Reigle as our newest board member.  Ms. Reigle comes to us after a distinguished career in government service.  She has volunteered for 18 years with The Rescue Mission of Frederick.  Her interests in board work include building relationships with the nonprofit and for-profit communities.  Welcome to the Work, Ms. Reigle!

September 29, 2018 - Justice Jobs was pleased to present a booth at the second annual Summit of Intersections Conference at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Frederick.  We made a number of new connections to service providers at the intersection of Mental Health Disorders, Sexual Abuse, and Substance Abuse Disorder, all of which are most prevalent in survivors of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).  Many of our applicants at Justice Jobs are ACE survivors.  Thanks to Heartly House and Gale Recovery for inviting us to present!

September 6, 2018 - A big "Thank you" to Hood College for including us in their job and internship fair today!  We met many bright, energetic students who are gearing up for the new school year, and we hope to attract one of them as a Justice Jobs intern!

July 30, 2018 - Justice Jobs opened its doors to applicants today!  16 applicants attended our first orientation session at The Shelter, and 8 of them called in to schedule an intake interview for tomorrow!  We are thrilled at the turnout and hope all of them will stick with us to "get a job, keep that job, get good references, and move up to better jobs!"
